Going: Allopathic

I really despise looking for doctors.  It's such a pain in the ass.  I changed OBs last year and I'm really just not thrilled with them.  And now it's coming time to really needing to find another one (or suck it up and be miserable with the current).

I <3 the OB I had previously, but they no longer deliver at both hospitals.  They only deliver at one.

I delivered there.

And I sent in a SCATHING survey the hospital had sent me.

I hear so many people singing their praises, but I refuse to ever go back.  I refuse to the extent that I have stopped seeing that OB.

:(

So last year I tried another one, that delivers at a different hospital all together.  And I'm just not tickled with them, and I'm still not tickled with the prospect of ever delivering there.

Which means I either suck it up and stick with that hospital and find another OB, or I look for something else entirely.  I'm leaning towards finding out which hospital our favorite pediatrician is affiliated with and searching from there.  Travel time is essentially the same as where I've already delivered.

Or, I could contact a previous client of mine and ask her to remind me who she saw and where she delivered.  She was high-risk, and while being a more hollistic-minded individual she was well aware of the reality of her risks and intertwined the hollistic and the allopathic to suit her and her situation(s).

I think that will be my first route...contact my client for a recommendation.  If that isn't feasible, or doesn't click, then check with the ped.
