He ordered satellite installation last night. Yes, it's an added bill (despite having rid ourselves of three bills), but I'm truly looking forward to having things like the History Channel, etc available. And it comes with an HD DVR. Now I can TRULY tell the kids that their lives do not revolve around the television. Our favorite shows will be available when it fits in OUR schedule...no more missing episodes.
So with better programming coming, he's looking at a new TV. A flat panel that will ultimately replace the 13" dial in our room.
I don't think I've ever been so excited about electronics. This is the first TV we've ever purchased.
